Our Trip to San Fran (Day 3)
Day 3
Made our way to Ghiradelli Square on an especially cold and foggy morning.
Took a cable car for the first time to the area.
Hubby was especially sick that day and didn't have the stomach to eat an ice cream sundae. What a shame!
Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 were thankfully not too crowded in the morning.
Took a SF Bay Cruise with the Blue & Gold Fleet.
The fog was so thick that we could barely see the Bridge.
The bitter cold made the boat tour miserable, especially for my sick husband.

A man fed a flying seagull, which attracted a dozen other hungry birds.
The beautiful Ferry Building was the perfect place to find a late lunch.
Il Cane Rosso served the most amazing beef brisket sandwiches.
We couldn't leave without tasting some of Miette's famous French macarons.
After a long nap, we headed to the giant Macy's in Union Square.
On Day 3, I wore more sensible shoes, even though they were horribly less stylish.
