My wonderful big sister sent me a package full of Urban Outfitters goodies last week. In it were four little birdie hooks that will be perfect for my craft room. I already have great plans for them and I hope that the landlord won't be upset with four extra holes in the wall.

I always complain to her about having to find new outfits to wear for Army events. My closet is seriously lacking so she took it upon herself to dress me in nice clothes.

I made The Hubby take pictures of me so that I could post them for Debbie to see. I made him take multiple shots and these were the best ones. "I'm sorry miss, but you're just not cut out for modeling" was his response when I told him that they were horrible.

The first dress is a strapless one with a sweetheart neckline . It even has pockets! All dresses should have pockets.

And here is a plum ruffle dress that will be suiting for less casual events. It looks a lot nicer in person since the lighting is so poor in this picture.

She sent this great black dress too, but sadly it was too large so I had to return it. The best part of it all is that she bought everything on sale so it makes me feel less guilty about receiving such a lovely gift. Thanks, Debbie! Now I have to search for a great birthday present for you.

P.P.S. On Sunday we went for dim sum in Austin at Shanghai Restaurant. It was pretty legit dim sum, but it was overpriced ($34. 43 for two people!) and not nearly as good as New Capital in Rowland Heights. It was the first time I heard Mandarin in a very long time. Also, the women pushing the carts said all the dishes in English! Madness!
